- Sigh I know I needa cut him out of my life but its just so hard. We were only together for a short period of time but we made so many memories. And we didnt actually separate completely. It feels like we have so much unresolved issues but he just doesnt know how to open up. It seems like every time I try to make things better they end up being worse. I tried being just friends with him n that didnt work cuz we had too much history to just be friends. So we tried being more but it just made the wound deeper. So now here we are about a yr n a half after we broke up . . . stuck in limbo. I cant keep doing this I know I needa let go. But how?? How you simply cut someone out that you love and care for so much and just never look back? Someone please . . . please tell me how . . .

Jill Scott … she made it cool to be curvy. Her voice can be so powerful, or a soft sweet melody, or rough and raspy; and her lyrics . . they just make you connect. She’s a true poet.
Erykah Badu … she creates her own style and doesn’t conform for anyone. She’s true to herself and to her art and I truly respect that. She doesn’t ask anything from her audience but to just accept her for who she is and respect how she presents her gift.
India Arie … such a spiritual woman. She’s so down to earth and i love her bohemian style. Truly appreciate her as an artist.
Tamia … this woman right here is SO underrated its ridiculous. Her voice alone oh my Lord!! She is so talented. I love her realness and her honesty in her music. It’s so beautiful I love it.
